what is ''the pill mod"?

putting a welding tip in the boost line under your turbo.

It delays the opening of the wastegate to increase boost & torque in the midrange. Not for peeps that can't toon for it. ;) You have to adjust DAL tables and disable overboost codes to keep from going into limp mode.

what power #s do you see with this?

That depends a ton on the tune and the car's mods.

The torque is too high for the stock clutch in 3, 4 & 5 under 3k or so.

Haven't been to the dyno, but the size of the restriction varies the rate of the WG opening. .045 pill keeps me around 25psi tops. It still tapers off to 19 - 20 psi @ 6500 RPM depending on load.

A manual boost controller works the same way, but with this mod we still have control of boost with the Desired Airload table.
