What Spark Plugs Should You Use On LNF?
This question has been asked so many times, so I'm just gonna make this a sticky.
Stock Ac-Delco Plugs Gapped to .032. 41-108. 4 Of Them. |
Ngk makes a good iridium plug. Thats all i run

I run 28 psi and I use stock. I used one step colder once, engine sounded gurglly
|
Just did mine and went with stock Acdelco's.

Mine were all 030-032 out of the box so i didn't touch them. Quick install. Too bad I found oil on one plug during removal. No misfires or running rough. Hopefully just a spark plug well gasket.

Is there a 1 step colder option anywhere?
|
For lnf just the oem plugs
|
So are copper plugs a thing of the past? i know iridium plugs last longer. I just always bought copper plugs for my LSJ, i just assumed it would be the same for the LNF because they burn better and have better conductivity. |
Nothing works better than OEM plugs for a lnf. Also sometimes its best to re-gap them to .032-.030 to avoid spark blowout when tuned or are tuned
|
He is trying to say you may need to regap plugs to .030.-032.
|
Ok I’ll take y’alls word for it, i just never used iridium plugs before |

Spell check changed your "regap" to "regal", just didn't want him to get confused. I see you edited it.
|
Actually I've seen guys having problems with at the 600whp levels using copper plugs on a lnf and playing with gaps because of spark problems at high levels of boost
|
I started using ngk one step colder from stock. Same plug but a step colder. They work very well. Will post the number later

What was the reason from going one step colder? Are you stock or running some mods? I just bought the stock ones you posted originally

Like he said, big boy turbo with big boy boost lol. Definitely helps with knock in combination with direct port meth. Run 6 degrees timing more with direct port and one step colder vs stock and single nozzle on 94.
