2.8 pulley install

i have the 2.8 pulley, #80 injectors, ordering a heat exchanger and k&n typhoon shortly, i have a canned pcm from zzp, i plan on just using it to drive it to the dyno shop,
question is do i need to have a header? i feel like its bs and i can get by with just a catless dp. but figure u guys will have the answer to that! assuming ill have to buy the header and midlength dp but dont want to obviously haha

air in. air out. Get the full exhaust, It'll only help you in the long run. Skip the K&N and get something worthwhile. Maybe even just running the air box mod (search it, it's here) The big restriction on the LSJ is the dp but why not go ahead and get the longtubes and catback? Its future proofing and worth it.

oh i know about the airbox mod lol wasnt running very good so i put it back to stock quite ghettoly... but i gotta catless dp and catback with no restriciton whatsoever, 2 straight through glass packs. question is could i get away running that small of a pulley with a stock header, ihave full exhaust aside from the header lol dont really wanna get that cuz its gonna b another 2 or 300 bux but obviously if its a necessity to rn this pulley ill do it haha

You should be able to get away with stock header just fine. The header flows pretty good iirc. Higher priority is sufficient cooling and lack of intake restrictions on the front side. I'd look into dual pass end plate.
