Exhaust Too Loud? Walker Quiet Flow FTW!!!

Hey Guys. So I don't know if everyone read my previous thread of too loud of exhaust but i installed an OTTP catted long tube header with a 2.5" catback from mandrelexhaustsystems.com with the Borla muffler and it was crazy loud. I installed a Dynomax Super Turbo because everyone rants how good they are on here. Well it took the drone off down the highway but was still stupid loud when you got into it. So I did some research and went with a Walker Quiet Flow muffler. All I can say is WOW! It sounds almost stock just normally driving it and has a nice bark when you giver. And the muffler shop where i got my Super Turbo installed did a straight swap for the Quiet Flow and got Walker to pay the install! I couldn't be happier. I know there's lots of others fighting the same battle so I thought I would share to help out.

you must want your exhaust next to silent then? My full 3" with header, cat, and super turbo is pretty quiet but I didnt want mine silent.

nice! When my superturbo ***** itself (again) I may look into getting a Walker. I've had random pieces of metal breaking off from the inside of my superturbo lately.

Ya the quieter the better haha.

I know you did and I appreciate all your efforts on that! Ummm well i don't know how it's treating me yet haha. Between changing mufflers to get it quiet and getting those damn v bands to seal has been a bit of a task haha. My tune is way out now and my tuner hasn't had time to fix it yet. And to boot I've been blowing fuses for my meth lately. I thought I had a short to ground somewhere. Well I'm all smiles driving home with my quiet exhaust, step into it a bit and no meth. Blew another fuse. Wellll I dive into my wiring and everything looks fine. Put 12v right to the pump, it clicks but no worky. So now I need a new meth pump. And it's not even a year old! FML

Well I used some high temp silicone on them then let it totally dry before starting it. Seems to be holding so far.

Like i said in my OP under normal driving conditions it sounds almost stock but when you put your foot into it it has a nice bark. Is it even possible to make a 4 cylinder sound good? Lol
