No more wheelhop hopefully!:lock::lock: http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/6637/photo10tb.jpg 2.6 big boy boost:cool: http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/1605/photo11cu.jpg Something to get the power down http://img844.imageshack.us/img844/9955/photo12vw.jpg Oooo:cool: look what just showed up today http://img203.imageshack.us/img203/289/photo17k.jpg Stay tuned for more pictures and I WILL be dynoing this setup in the spring either alone or with Indiana Ecotecs.:guns::usa: |
Throw some diamonds on there to be safe? not sure on the install cost of that. but other than that it looks awesome. thanks for responding to my request to make a build thread! Where are you getting the 1000's and how much are they?
I'm gonna run on stock pistons and sleeves till something gives. I'm gonna try and get the injectors used because they are $$$
well if you dont find them used let me know where you get them. Perhaps if we bought them together it might lower the price lol.... I feel like im not gonna be satisfied and end up getting my head ported and want to drop pullies...
Nice build.. In for results
Injectors can be bought from T1racedevelopment.com and probably some other places. Around $450 last I checked plus some other things needed to run them. Look to spend about $500 for it all if buying new.
What tires will you be running at the strip? |

not sure if that gmpp will hold your power man... its good for 300 torque but u might be pushing it. either way that clutch has a lot of slop (at least mine does)
anyway, i love me a 2.6 tvs :D consider me subbed in here. and if you find out the stage1 mount doesn't cut it for wheel hop, i have and extra rear spacer if you want it ;) |
Ohh I have the rear spacer too not sure how good it will be but when everything was stock wheelhop was a bitch. As for the clutch zrated was running a lot more power than I will be and as far as I know his held fine so I'm hoping it will be fine haha.

fair enough!
To go with the LS4 anyone think it would be worth upgrading to a 3" intake instead of my typhoon?
Absolutely upgrade to a 3" intake!!!!!!!!!!
I was debating that too. Keep typhoon or go zzp
How much for clutch shipped to 77506? Thanks
Uhh $400
Typhoon junk and restrictive get 3"
Restricting a forced induction vehicle is like putting a semi tight rope around your neck |
You wanna get rid of wheel hop and increase 60ft times? Buy my control arms
no need for the inj get the zzp brfbpdkedagrdad
with 80's stock pump can handle the flow. no need for the ls4 and drive to area47 to get more bounce to the ounce. |
Good luck with build!
the ls4 is a good thing

might get a little torque out of the ls4 but idt enough to be worth it... u running a 3" intake? def. run a zzp 3" intake if ur getting the ls4 for best results
I saw a dyno from 100% the LS4 made 9 horse under the curve. I know results will vary but especially if Mr B says its a go then I'm gonna do it
9 horse? damn! still. are u running a 3" intake as well?
Only 370? haha jkjk...good luck with the build buddy...happy to see my TVS is going to use!
