I'm not sending it back, I don't have time for that. I'll just fix it.

I'm going to have to pull it off and redo with new hardware tomorrow because its leaking at the dp. BadFab.

One of my studs did that too and I just threaded it through some and put a nut on each end.

I'm going to get into contact with Brad about this issue ASAP. These headers are shipping to you guys directly from Bad Mab, nothing to do with me other than a cheaper price. Still, you guys satisfaction is important to me, I'll see what I can do for you.

I reused the factory manifold studs. Also used my own hardware for the DP flange.

I'm going to attempt to reuse the stock studs, if that doesn't work I'm going to run a bolt through with washers and secure a nut on each with wire or something..

Like I said above, thats all I did with the top one. I might just run bolts through all of 3 of them with lock washers so I know they will hold.

It looks like the hardware company sent Bad Mab the wrong size studs. You can use the stock stud if you want, it will work fine. I am also offering the correct stud at no cost to anyone got the wrong size and would like the correct one. Please PM me or email me at customersupport@badnewsracing.net with your paypal invoice number and I will send you the correct stud. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Got the thing secured for the most part, very temporary fix. Got 2 solid pulls with no leaks..wow, what a difference over the stock piece.

Definitely worth the buy, even at full price. Also, RiceCop has been nothing but helpful throughout this whole process. Can't wait to get the new studs in.

Please read the this whole thread people. Myself and 07MetallicSC both mentioned you will need to re-use your production manifold to downpipe studs. It is not a big deal, so lets not make it seem that way. Infact, I think the (3) production manifold to downpipe studs are better anyways. The header is a great piece, and will not leak (if installed correctly). Take your time installing it, run it through a few heat cycles, and re-check/tighten any loose bolts.

You just cant beat what Brad is offering and how he takes cares of customers.
Cant wait till the 5th to see what my new mods gained me.

On a side note both zzp and ottp also had good reviews this week from me.
OTTP returned my phone call yesterday within a few hours, need my meth kit for this weekend. And ZZP is so close i get my orders 3 days later no mater what.

I have to agree, I dealt with all 3 companies as well with my build in the past 3 weeks or so and have had nothing but great experiences. This is probably one of the best forums I have ever been on. The interraction from the vendors is great and they all stand behind their stuff 110%. ZZP had left out the option b bracket I ordered and they got it in the mail within 10 minutes of letting them know and now this. Usually you get "well it's a custom part so you must have installed it wrong" or some other bs story.

Can't reuse them if they're seized in the manifold

You can get them out. Trust me. Use a little arm strength.

Spray the **** out of them with PB blaster. Then take a pair of vice grips, and grip around the little non threaded section. They will eventually work their way out.

Brad will order the correct studs today, should get them tomorrow, and will ship them via USPS to everyone that has contacted me requesting the correct studs so far. He estimates delivery on Saturday, I'd say if not Saturday, early next week.
