badmab+zzp 3" catless+zzp resonator+2.5" piping to X muffler
If my car still sounds raspy after I put this zzp resonator on then I'm taking my megan muffler off and putting something better on. What muffler would you guys suggest sounds the best? Not buying a catback, so just individual mufflers I can purchase.

Ok so I got my zzp resonator installed after my downpipe which means I have badmab to 3" zzp catless to zzp resonator to megan racing muffler. The resonator cut the sound in half which I wanted but my car is still very raspy. I'm starting to think it might just be the megan racing muffler and I need a new muffler. One time when I was pulling the silencer out of the muffler, some black insulation came out with it. Would a shot muffler make the car raspy?

My setup is similar to yours. I have a badmab header, 3" catless dp to a 2.5 exhaust back to a borla muffler not a can but a standard muffler and a tip welded to the end and it isnt raspy I love the sound of it. If I can get a video of it I will but it wont be for about a week.

I had flowmasters on my old contour SVT, one literally broke apart on the inside and sounded 10x worse than it did with no mufflers at all.
If you really want to kill rasp the best way to do it, which no one really does to often im not sure why, is add a large diameter resonator as far forward in the exhaust as possible. a short 3" resonator with a 6/7" body would do the trick, see if a muffler shop can add one to the DP if possible. Magnaflow XL mufflers work perfect!
And if you really want to try something wild, you can get an extended magnaflow xl with a 6" body and run it right behind the stock dp, and use the longest possible that will fit, get rid of your muffler at the back. My buddy ran a 6" body 32" Mag XL on a M3 with headers and no rear mufflers it sounded incredible!!! It was so big it looked like a diesel truck muffler, but they absorb excellent and long enough it just destroys rasp. I also ran one on a Mercury Sable with no cats and it sounded like a G35 with test pipes.
