Best 3in Exhaust

I am sorry to be bugging about exhaust but I cant find a thread comparing 3in exhaust. I know of JBP, Hahn Racecraft, CTI, Vibrant< and I think ZZp makes a 3 in.

Can anyone give me the low down on the Exhaust systems. Some things I was intrested in was which one provides best performance improvement, and which is the loudest.

Yeah ott said the CTI was the way to go. But the Vibrant sounds deep and loud for a good price. There seems to be little known about 3in.

vibrant sounds like a chainsaw, especially with a header/downpipe as well.

So CTI is the best as sound goes and OTT performance states it is also the best for performance.

If I had an SS/SC i'd def go with CTI. But being as its a 3" setup, I opted to go a different route for my 2.4SS.

No thanks man I want one new and I just bought an intake and stage 2 is next. I already have 3in cat with tsudo muffler. So the CTI will come after stage 2.

Any DP that will bolt in place of the stock one(xtc, zzp, intense, JBP) will work even though JBP says otherwise.

My Clear Image Automotive 3" exhaust is ******* gorgeous. Doesn't even sound catless.

Are they all the same performance wise? If they are I think I will go with jbp.

Not sure where you get that info from.. I had the Vibrant 3" cat-back on my SS/SC and it sounded pretty damn nice. You can ask ANY of the locals that heard it before I got rid of it and they will agree..

It kinda does.....my friend (NamedGobalt) used to have it on his SS/SC before he wrecked/sold it, and I didn't really prefer the way it sounded. Almost annoying sounding really.

Hahn Racecraft! I just picked one up used and I love it! It is quieter than my GMPP was at cruising rpm's, but when you put the right pedal on the floor, it's nice and loud but still somewhat mellow sounding. Hahn got it right IMO. The Vibrant 3" is crazy loud and it sounds terrible IMO.

Hahn is great, if you want a bit louder vibrant is your choice.
