Brake Rotors

So need some new rear brakes. Thought while I was going to change them might up grade the rotors also. Was wondering a couple things:
1) What is better; slotted, drilled, or slotted & drilled?
2) Where can I buy Brembo or Baer rotors for an '07 Cobalt SS?
3) Any brand of pads anyone recommend?
Thanks

everything depends on how you drive and how you plan on driving your car. For example, do you drive spiritly, do you race on a track?

me personally, i would go with slotted rotors. Drilled rotors have a 50:50 chance of cracking due to the spots the drills are made. If you can find slotted and dimpled, that would be better. However, you also gotta keep in mind, the more drilled/dimpled spots there are, the less the pads will make contact with the rotors so it will cause less braking power.

I went with stoptech slotted rotors, EBC green stuff pads and SS braided lines. The set up was amazing and i plan on getting the same identical set up for my truck.

Pretty much any of the main vendors on this site will sell those brand names. Once again, personally i got my stuff from TH Motorsports and got a awesome deal from them.

Just get smooth rotors. You'll get longer pad life, better braking power, and 0 chance of cracking. I bought drilled and slotted but I'm switching to smooth in the spring so I can do some track days without worrying.

So tc guys, keep an eye out for drilled and slotted rotors with low miles on them in the spring.
