Burning Smell After Hard Pulls?

After I run through 1st and 2nd gear it gets a very noticeable burning smell. It smells a lot like burning rubber but it doesn't seem to be the belt. I'm pretty stock besides the Airbox and Exhaust. I don't think its the clutch either. I also noticed after say at a red light the revs drop drasticly down to 400 and then bump between 400-700 and then idles normal again.Any help would be appreciated because I'm starting to think something may be wrong.

maybe your roasting tires

It'd be a little easier if you could describe the smell a little bit more

It just smells like burning rubber but only after hard pulls. I know for sure it's not the clutch since that has a pretty distinct smell.

Not the tires... I take 1st pretty light until i get full traction in 2nd.

used with 58k on it.. that was like exactly 2 years ago..

belt... idk. You would see obvious signs of wear on the belt and you'd know if the belt was slipping because your RPM's would jump randomly in the middle of a pull...

I get that kind of smell sometimes to after hard pulls, i think it's the belt slipping a little bit not a big deal, just check the belt tension to make sure it's not too loose. and for wear on the belt. that's most likely what it is. could be the clutch slipping a little just not enough to feel.

RPM's hold strong and are smooth. Belt didn't seem loose or worn down from what I can tell when I looked today. Maybe it is some what normal like Jake said. I'll check the tension after school tomorrow.

o wow that is stock o.O

i get a smell after hard pulls myself but honestly i think its unused air from the blower being let out thru the wastegate. dunno what else could give that nasty smell besides the obvious coolant, clutch, tires

it does not look like it's to loose but under hard pulls it can slip just enough to get hot enough to smell a little. i wouldn't worry about it to much. does it look like it's worn at all. can't tell in your video.

Won't be that stock for long. Just decided not to start modding in the beginning of the winter.

and as far as the idle try cleaning your throttle body. it's most likely gummed up.
