Cobalt-Addiction.com Stage 6

Can I get over 300 whp from the Cobalt-addiction.com Stage 6, and additional bolt-on like header, intake, downpipe, and cat-back? I'm new to these forums and to the SS/SC. Also, can I buy the Stage 6 with-out nitrous?

Another thing, can I run Stage 6, and have full use of my AC?

You possible could have over 300 whp with the stage 6 with bolt-on,s never know until you get a dyno, the stage 6 comes without nitrous, if you read it, it says, higher yields with nitrous installed, it just comes with the controler, yes you can have full use of your a/c, why wouldnt you? The search button is your friend.

The aeroforce definitely does not give you whp. that has to be at the crank

Gilbert what exactly are your mods? CobaltAddiction.com is claiming a 90 hp increase.
So that's pushing 295, so with an intercooler, intake, header, high-flow cat, and a full cat-back system get me over the 300hp mark? i'm guessing 325 crank HP, probably won't break 300 at the wheels.

The interceptor reads in crank hp. 317 crank is about 278-279 whp. I got 338 the other night which would be about 297 whp, and would also explain my loss of traction in third gear
I think 300 whp is possible with the stage 6, full exhaust (header, dp, cat-back), and a custom tune. Without the custom tune I'd say 285-290.

with stage 6 (I was the test car) and all bolt ons I managed 296whp and 271 wtq.. probably coulda hit 300whp if I had time to let the car cool down, but I did it after work and took a 20 min drive at @100 mph to get there on time.

Gimme a break man! I got no traction, and my clutch nuked before I could get back to the track after I added torque managment. Oh and 300 whp with N20 is cheating

well then you guys really don't much about racing... its been in use forever... try telling some of the Top drag racers in the country that they're cheating and watch what they say...
with the money I have sunk into the motor project... its the only way I"ll be able to hit what I want until its done... but motor should be in by springtime and its still getting a 125 shot for ***** and giggles on top...
nitrous is your friend.... not your enemy

come on man with the times... I was running steelies with some shitty mud and snows and no TQ management and max timing of 12-13 degrees.... check out my myspace page I have 2 vids up the just to show how shitty my car was in 1st and 2nd, but somehow decided to come alive in third

Yeah, I never said nitrous was cheating in racing, I said nitrous was cheating in a whp comptetion
You proved my point though, I had no traction, you had mud and snow tires with no torque managment, BUT you were only runnin 13 degrees of timing and like 14 lbs of boost. I was running worn stocker no torque managment, 23.5 degrees of timing, and 19 lbs of boost. Plus even while shifting outta first at 5200 rpm I STILL trapped almost 108 mph!

well I"ll tell ya one thing... those are some nice trap speeds... my friend marc (wheelhoppinss) pulled of a 13.7 @107 and a 13.5 @105 with only GM stg II and a 2.7 pulley with my modified STG II tune but only 20 deg of timing.... on bald mud and snows no less..

but I agree in a WHP comp nitrous could be considered cheating..... I guess... but it always helps in a race... and wait til the sp[ring... got my hoosier QTP's and rims... 12's most def.. as long as my clutch holds up, but so far so good still on the OG stocker

My "OG stocker" hold about as strong as a new born baby's grip. If I powershift into third it will just slip and the rpms will raise and I have to let off before it tries to hit the rev limiter (7400). Its pathetic, but even with the slipping clutch the interceptor said 14.01 @ 112 (did some more tune tweaking since the last time to the track)

You don't have enough power to slip it
Mine spins and slips simutaniously in second, and chirps into third before slipping like crazy. First gear sometimes is almost like reving in neutral
