Crawford Composites Pricing

I sent an e-mail out to Crawford Composites yesterday, they are the ones who make all of the carbon fiber pieces for the Grand Am Cobalts. Here is the pricing:

Here are the prices you are looking for:
Front Valance and splitter $1782.19
Hood $1518.88
Roof $1335.40
Deck Lid $1355.30
Wing $1595.66

Yeah, I doubt anyone interested at those prices. But of course, they are racing parts so they charge a pretty penny for their engineering expertise.

Look at any picture of a Grand Am Cobalt and you can see them, as far as seeing any un-painted pictures, never seen any.

The valance and spliter would be sweet.

Yeah, if you are into serious road racing it would be a good investment, but the again, I would just remove my fog lights and run the ducts through there.

I contacted them a long time ago about the CF splitter, with attached brake ducts.

If you look at the underneath of the car in the build book, you will see the air is channeled from the splitter through ducts. The ducts are seperate, they run to the front and left brakes.

Here are the part numbers and pricing I recieved:

Splitter P.M. 319 $1782.19

Brake Ducts P.M. 313LH $382.00 / 313RH $382.00

Yeah, I am pretty sure the Grand Am Cobalts use the holes for the fog lights in addition to front splitter brake ducts. I am not sure that you can justify the other $1800 + $400 for the cooling, unless you are running a 24-hour race. Here is a cool link:

for that price. they can keep them.

That actually looks like a different splitter used on the Time Attack Cobalt.

Here is a pic of the CF Crawford Composite splitter that this pricing is for:

I think this one is much cleaner/nicer than the big ass Time Attack Lip.

BooSSted 10-06-2006 04:00 PM

That's a lot too much for my budget

R33P3R007 10-12-2006 09:44 AM

yeah 17oo for the splitter and 400 for each brake duct. f that. how about fiberglass and not CF
