Dilema...

Ok, Now that I'm done with my basic mods, its time for supporters as in cooling for my 2.6" pulley. I just picked up an '03 cobra HE for $70 tonight! Now that the HE is out of the way, I can concentrate on other cooling things. BUT WHICH ONE!!?!?!??! Water/Meth injection? OR CryO2 HE Sprayer? I'm getting both eventually, but which should come first?

Why not invest in a better cooling system?

Personally, I am going to go with the CryO2 sprayer. Main reason being, you don't really need to tune the car to use the CryO2 and you don't have to use it all the time. With the Meth, from what I have read, you need to tune the car for it and you always need to have it on for WOT runs.

I think the CryO2 is just a little more user friendly for a daily driven car

You don't have to tune for water/meth. It will cool reguardless, and act as an octane booster. People who tune for it are actively trying to run more boost or timing for more power numbers, and using the water/meth to surpress detonation.

I cant vote, I say you get the Devils Own alky kit. Its cheaper and better than the snow kit.

http://www.alcohol-injection.com/380...-kit-p-50.html

that kit actually works for the LSJ engine.

I've seen/installed this kit on a friends car and it is indeed a nice setup. It doesn't have the progressive controller like the Snowperformance Kit though, so it's actually not better but will work great!

My girlfriend would love that as she's from PA, but the military won't let me just move. The water/meth kit was easy to install. You just have to find a place to mount the crap that comes with the kit. The wiring instructions were excellent too IIRC. I actually soldered all the wires for great connections, and used heat shrink on top of that to protect everything from the elements, then put them into the black flex tubing, so it all looked factory. If you want to get really tricky and into it, my buddies and I like to hide it all, so nobody can see the kit.

The more boost the more juice to quench the thirst bro. It's good for tuning when you're looking to add timing and such to gain more ponies. When huffing on that methanol man, you need to "Progress" it slowly because the bubblegum or rootbeer additives smell so damn good!

LOL maybe on an srt4 that makes 13LB of boost in first, 18LB in 2nd and max boost in third lol. They can really use the progressive kit. We, at best, bleed boost in first gear for a better launch. Other than that, we are consistently 100% boost in all gears.

I say go with the CryO2 Heat Exchanger Sprayer. This way you don't have tune for anything and you don't have to worry about it if it runs out like you do with meth/alchohol.
Just my opinion. I'm sure guys are fine with meth this is just a little easier.

heat make a metal expand, blasting hot expanded metal to supercool it forces it contract, as it pulls molecules together. On top of that, youve got liquid in that HE. Seems to dangerous IMO, especially for those of us that see insane AIT2 temps. We dont have air to air. Good luck bro, seems like spraying C02 on the intake manni, below the SC, might be the best way to go. Just my opinion.....

If your spraying the HE with freezing cold Co2 it won't get hot in the first place. Also I'm going with the CryO2 system first (thanks to the redline forums )

our air to water is about 85% efficient. Throw in a HE and Ice box and its efficiancy is about 100%!!!!!
