Umm if you ask me it looks like you have motor trouble not spark plug trouble. 2 of the plugs look good, but you may want to make sure you don't have issues in the cylinders that the 2 plugs that have the tips eaten off of. How much timing are you running and do you have knock? Any fueling problems, like running too lean?

I did have a code of bank 1 too lean. When i pulled the plugs out of cyl 1 and 3 they wasnt tight. So i think that couldve been the reason. I have no knock or fuel issues

Those plugs aren't burnt due to manufacturing defect, they are toast because of the motor is my guess. Will be curious to see what the newly installed ones look like. Do you have a way to log the car using up tuners software?

The one on top really looks bad. You may want to run a compression test while they are out.

do you have an lsj? cause those are not the correct plugs for an lsj. they are the wrong seat type (tapered vs crush washer) and the wrong length. lsj plugs are a standard 3/4" reach, those look like a 1" reach. they look like the plugs that would be in a 2.2l or 2.4l.

you have something else going on there as well. could you stand the plugs up and get pics of them, id like to have a look at the porcelin

The porcelain on the top plug is toast and what bothers me is it looks like heavy oil/carbon buildup on the plug also. I have no clue how the car could have ran worth crap.

I4 engines only have 1 bank, you're running lean. Also address the concerns about the correct plugs for an lsj.

looks like this dude has an SS/SC. so there for sharkey you are right and those plugs would be wrong if in fact this is his SS/SC. this is where research and a torque wrench come into play as a prime example, esp if the plugs werent even tight let alone the wrong ones.

You seem to be correct. 2 of those plugs have the ends of the threads eaten away at, which tells me there were in the combustion chamber possibly.

I went to autozone lastnight. They tried to give me the wrong plugs again. The guy said they will fit 2.0, 2.2 and 2.4. I blew up on the guy. He looked it up under a 2.0 and they were def the wrong ones

Ecotec 2.0 LSJ Spark Plugs 41-106 12610767

^These are the correct factory plugs you want...

You can also snag up NGK BKR7's at autozone for cheap and are also a plug that works on the LSJ. Never rely on a parts guy behind a desk.... Especially one at Autozone.

Just go ask for a BKR7E plug, don't let them look it up by car.

If you have to though, an Evo, from like 2006 or whatever, calls for those NGK plugs stock.
