Apearantly thats normal, its a coating that rubs off in the close spots to make a better seal.

Gonna make a habit out of this. Every time I see someone that screwed things up by trying to plug the ports, I'll grab their post and quote it...for reference:

Sounds like the car has a HUGE leak and i get 0 boost and shakes bad.

sounds like something went really really wrong, there's no way a solid peice could have made it to the filter , there is almost 0 clearance between the SC rotors and housing.

id love to see some pics of thies botched pluggins . i have no doubt bad things can happen, but there are people out there that can screw up putting gas in there car.

if you are not a crafty person , then i wouldn't do this. cause things can go wrong. but if done correctly i see no harm. but ultimately its up to the owner to decide if a mod with almost no performance gain is worth the risk .

I pretty much agree with everything you said. It's just ridiculous to think that someone with the knowledge to prep and seal those ports so that they, more than likely, won't break up would also understand the worthlessness of this modification.

Regardless of how careful you are, it's not guaranteed that they will stay in place. Simply not worth it...

One thing I would look at is that eaton states that thes can handle up to 29lbs or 2.3 Bar Something like that yes eat is an issue but look into cry02 or methanol before the zupercharger to cool the intake charge.

Hello. 2006 called. It wants its ideas back.

Meth injection, heat exchangers, dual pass endplates, E85, porting are all good ways to decrease charged air temps.

It is nicely built and sounds great I think.

What on earth do these posts have to do w/ modifying the Eaton M62? Please search the forums as these belong elsewhere...

To be nice, though. Compressor doesn't dictate injector size, airflow does. If you're running the larger stock pulley on the Harrop, you'll be just fine.

First post, you obviously posted in the wrong thread, are mentally handicapped or straight up spam...

I'm adding the link below to this thread, because I feel it explains in better detail some common questions that are still asked when modifying a positive displacement blower (even after reading this very imformative thread). It also will clear up some of the common mistakes people tend to make when they decided to modify their blower.

Please take the time to read. Enjoy!

Something to reference before making a decision to modify the port holes on the blower. This guy did not have an issue until 3-years later, but this still ended up costing him. Please make informed decisions...

you will end up with rotor contact issues or large gaps.. these are precision machined bores.. it would be like welding on your cylinder bores.. NOT A GOOD IDEA!
What type of material can we use to plug them? I would like to hear a little more whine out of mine! Be like naw homie its not s/c that was just the VTEC kicking in.
