That's pretty much the attitude I'm taking lol. I think this muffler would be great for someone whos catless or running 3" exhaust.

i recently got a super turbo (cetner in offset out) installed on my balt as the magnaflow race can was a bit to loud haha. It muffles it great down low and at high rpm you still hear it ALOT...im catless right now though, so there is rasp, but alot better then it use to have.

yeah the dynomax super turbo is a great muffler. I have one on my car also and really like the tone.

If your happy with it then that's all that counts. I like the sound of it at idle but it is a bit rasp-berry.

Open windows just catches the wind. I tried. Get some flybys and one where you start in front of the camera and gun it away from it.

I am ordering a Dynomax Super Turbo muffler - PN: 17748, it is the biggest (hopefully it will keep it quiet) they make in center/offset. My current exhaust set-up is in my signature.

Hopefully it sounds good.. I've heard mixed reviews.

nice whine in that second vid... ima have to agree that it sounds liek ass under load but very reasonable just chilling. One thing i hate is when that **** is loud as **** and the cars not even going anywhere. So **** it ya it could be better but only a small percentage of 4 bangers sound "good" and as u know already twice it could be much worse

I know exactly what you're talking about. Just everyday driving it gets loud and raspy in that rpm range. Its definitely much quieter than the super turbo but still raspy. Just normal everyday driving I hardly hear my exhaust with the windows up

why not use the stock muffler and just widen the inlet side?

because the stock muffler is very restrictive thats why people get rid of it!
