i say give the whole file out to everyone... and when they find out the hard way that they put a tune for the wrong engine code on their car and it costs them $1500 to "fix" what the tune did for them, we can all have a good at their expense

I have! I have already given out ALLOT of info! At my shop, i charge the cobalt guys "warranty times" on repairs or upgrades and at a reduced labor rate. 350.00 for a clutch install!!

fast06ss, i wouldn't sweat that question at all, where is this guy and "the group" he speaks of because they can help me pay for an engine rebuild

i'll start a website so him and his group can donate money to help out.... i think i shall call the website:

donatetomyblownenginefundsinceiamtestingblowerswap s.com

Im really likin the 2.5" pulley, but for everyday driving thats overspinning the blower too much for me. I would want a tune for a 2.8" pulley, though or is Stage 1 enough? Maybe il buy the HP tuning and learn by myself. I really want Rob to tune my car, but he isnt in Jersey. I would pay $350 for a custom tune from Rob
If your ever in North Jersey sometime after August, hit me up...

Hard work is worth money. I know when it comes down to it, I would pay for someone elses' hard work. That is the name of the game. Everything isnt free. Nice work man. PM him to discuss business, dont whine like a bum and ask for hand outs.

So how does this HPTuners thing work. You go to a shop that has the software and you pay them to tune or you have to purchase the software and go to a shop or what?

I'm just curious because I want to have my Stage 2 SS tuned for a 2.80" Pulley. Wonder how much more HP can be squeezed out of Stage 2 by optimizing the settings

Care to post any HP Logs?

What are your fuel trims?

I have it in my redline and absolutely love it. Hope to get it set up for the wideband feature for the hptuners this weekend. Just have to install some included inline filters into the 5v out.

Ya, I like the way it looks. I have to install those .1uf 50v ceramic capacitors also. Hey Dan, how did you route the wires through the firewall?

Ohh, and Dan.... when you get your tune from Rob... you need to change a few things from the Intense kit. Nothing major, just a simple thing that I overlooked. He helped me out last night and this car moves now.

You can route the wires through one of the firewall grommets. There is one under the pedels. You need to pop it out and cut a larger hole to fix the wires through. I haven't be able to get it back in however. But it hasn't leaked water or anything yet.

no problem, I recommend a coat hanger to feed the wires through.

I cut an x shape in the steering shaft boot and ran it thru

Also I'll one up you...I just got back from a 13 hour road trip to columbus ohio to have rob and scott personally tune my car...OMFG...looney tune FTMFW!!!!!!! I dynoed higher than rob on the same dyno the same night hehehe...but he made like almost 20 more ft lb of torque.

Only thing is im throwing a system too rich code...but i just got pissed and disabled the ses light in the hptuners.

And I have a feeling I know what that change is...I had to do it on the dyno in 10 minutes cause the car was bucking and **** at 6500 rpm + Car absolutely flys now...2nd gear traction is almost none existant lol
