How much are they charging for the belt? Also, would it fit the 2.8 inch pulley easily?

silverSS 06-21-2006 04:14 PM

$44.50

and i am running the 2.85, It was easy to install.

10min, took the motor mounts off, jacked the engine down a little, and fit it on there, def takes 2 people.

Damn, looks like I will be ordering one soon

its a really nice snug fit. i could see running a 2.5" pulley and 3" idler no problem........

Why did you take off the mount? Just for to make the reach easier, or is it definitely necessary? I don't think the belt loops around the mount like it did in my old car...

I'm curious, as depending on install quotes I get when I start shopping for stage 2, I may just do it myself.

go take a look at the car, and you will see it helps ALOT to take the motor mount off, besides, it only take a minute to take it off......but i have air tools so

My parts guy called me back today, and hes been looking for me for about 2 1/2-3 weeks now. They are on a national backorder still. He did a special request w/ my Vin number, so hes trying to get me one still..

I was quoted 33 bucks my cost. (same as dealer cost)

I've looked, and while tight it doesn't look impossible. As for the mount, I know it's easy to take off...took me 10 minutes to put the torque brace on. My problem is I don't have a decent jack to support the motor. :bye:
