Ok serious question and it's kind of urgent, I need any gm tech or someone ASAP. Just got stage 2 and I have had an AEM CAI. No problems with the CAI. Engine light came on tonight when I was testing out stage 2. Called on star and they said it was an intake issue. If i reset the ecu does it go back to factory or will it still be on the reflash from stage two?? Help!!!

Performance Help

I have an 07 Cobalt ss sc i already got the short throw shifter. cold air intake and a cat back exhaust. I'm looking to either turbo charge it or keep it sc but something that adds a good amount of horses for the money. I need help with what would be best for the amount of money.

i love my stage 2 there is defitely a difference by the seat of your pants feel. i had the stage 2 installed at 10k miles. now i have 45k miles and going strong! while the car was stock i travel to houston once a month to get my kids and i recorded a 33.3 mpg doing 5 mph over the limit the entire time. then after stage 2 it went up to 35.9 mpg doing same 5 mph over the limit. im also still on the same stock clutch if thats worth mentioning. ya ll have a good one! later

Hi all.

I just joined this fourm and I have a few general questions

Well First off Im Wes
I currently own a 07 2500HD Silverado.... 12 mpg is killing me!!!
I want to trade it in for a Cobalt SS Supercharged

The First Question I would like answered is what kind of performance upgrades can i get?

I have noticed people talking about the GM Stage Kits... Can I get some more info on them?

I just purchased the stage 2 not on someone elses opinion but on the same bases you would buy any other perforance part...which is having in mind this part may screw up something in the future...fair enough?? stage 2 is what we superchared cobalts need now to justify not selling for 08 turbo no?

18k on car.
17k on the s2.
Mileage went from 28 to 34.
No plug fouling.
My only problem is the damn sunroof switch.

On another note,
NOTHING voids the warranty.Period.End of story.
Stage "23" will not keep them from fixing the damn sunroof switch.
If something breaks and the mod caused it,not covered.
"Abuse", not covered.

pretty much any hp mod will do something. but certain things go hand and hand with other things, and in the end, its all just pieces to the puzzle.

$500 from ZZPerformance with a 2.9 inch pulley (moar boost! 16.5psi)
$0 for labor. As long as you have a three prong pulley puller, the whole thing will take you an hour, as long as you remove the M62 from the engine. That makes it so much easier to get off, plus its very simple to do.

Just read up on how to install it yourself and save about $500 bucks over GM and gain some more ponies with the smaller pulley and more aggresive tune.
