GM Stg2 or OTTP Stg2?

Well for GM Stage 2, my price even as a GM employee is about $550 bucks. For OTTP Stage 2 is about $450-500 bucks depending on wether I get them to send me a PCM, or I send them mine. For the price of the OTTp kit I get their heat exchanger, which to me seems worth every penny. So what do you guys think?

OTTP Stage 2.

You'll see more gains.

And you work for GM. Your warranty never gets voided.

Synapse Turbo out in Albany has agreed to tune my car for about 400$. So, I don't really need a stage anything? Just injectors, pully, and HE? They use the HP tuning software btw in case anyone is wondering.

That'll work, but that's pretty high for just a tune

If you're still considering the stage kids... If you're worried about warranty (which you shouldn't be if you work for GM) buy the GMS2, if you don't care, then get the OTTP kit. It's a lot better.

Why woud I need to buy the GM stage2 kit, and then the OTTP kit? Can't I just buy the ottp kit? Also I am extremely confused about what size pully I should be running on. My main question is, could I just buy the GM stg2 hub and pulley, with a stg2 gm belt, and 60lb injectors, then get the the tune done out at synapse? I am not worried about the price of the tune either, because that was just a quote over the phone, and I plan on getting a group rate on a dyno day coming up in June.

Buy a 2.7 pulley and hub 60lb injectors and the HE. You will need a gm stage 2 belt also.

So would I need the GM stage 2 hub, and pully, or the M62 Multiple pulley system?

No. Just got with the OTTP Stage 2. It's the best stage kit out there for our cars, bar none. It's worth every penny and comes with everything you need + a heat exchanger (which I wish it came with when i got my kit )

If you're getting the OTT kit, it will come with a smoothflow 5 bolt hub. Realistically you can run either hub, as long as you have the correct size pulley for the tune (2.8"). Just get their stage 2 kit, it's pretty simple.

don't buy a stage kit, just run a 125 dry shot of nitrous in it without changing anything else

don't buy the gms2 hub or pulley..the pulley isn't even 2.9, it's like 3.01....
OTTP sells the pulley system with a hub and a pulley size of you're choice. much better idea

1. You can PM or email the guys at OTTP about the pulley. They will give you a pulley that fits the GM stg. 2 hub. However, if you're not already staged by anyone, you'll have to yank off the stock pulley no matter what.

2. OTTP's kit is not the same price as GM's. It's actually half the price of the GM stage II kit.

3. OTTP's kit does not come with a H/E. ZZP's stage kit does. But with the savings you get with OTTP's kit, you can always get their H/E.

4. GM's kit is not dyno proven. The numbers you gain from GM's kit is crank hp. OTTP's kit is dyno proven to give you 40-50 wheel hp gain.

5. Benefits are really dependent on what you want. I've had both, and I'll always say that OTTP's kit is better than GM's.

Thank you all for all the helpful advice. Sorry SelfInfliction, but I don't like the idea of spray at all. I would rather my motor, and charger get all the attention. Besides my car isn't a child, doesn't need a bottle :-)
