GMPP manifold gains

I know it has probably been done over and over, but I just cant seem to find the info i need. I am debating to buy a GMPP manifold but was wondering if it was worth it. Like the gains worth the $$. How much HP gain is realistic with this manifold if I have the fallowing modds;

GMPP stage 2
Injen CAI
GMPP performace Exhaust
2.9 pulley

And how much hp does the current modds W/out manifold give me on the dyno! i mean approx

The dynos I have seen have showed about 8whp.

The CA stainless header is a nice peice though. It's actually cheaper. I love it.

It looks like we have about the same mods. I would recomend a true header like CA's.

how much would a CA header give?? the issue for me is I want 0 troubles becuz of my modifications by the dealer for warranty. Also I am canadian, getting things like that accross and ordering is a hassel. I can just go to my local dealership and get this manifold right. I dont want to be to loud and it has to be able to take freezing temperatures as well and summer days right. So I am thinking the GMPP would be better for my applications!

Do you have an ideal how much on the dyno i would get with all those modds??

Well I put down 242whp/212wtq with GM stage 2 and an Injen CAI.

With the mods you have now and the GM manifold you would be at about 260whp

A downpipe works wonders on these cars.

With my mods now i'm puting down about 270whp.

The extra 10whp comes from the true header and the downpipe with high flow cat.

No problem. The downpipe with high flow cat is worth about 7-8whp.

And the difference between a true header the GMPP manifold is probably about 3whp. Nothing crazy.

I don't know. To be honest I didn't look inside. I took it out of the box and bolted it right up. I did my entire exhaust in one shot so I was moving along quickly. Sorry bro.

Ah its all good. I was just wondering, it doesnt look bad, there were just a couple little parts that stood out. Honestly, I am thinking about getting this one, the price is right on.
Is it standing up pretty well against time? is there any coating coming off of it or anything?

It's holding up perfectly. No leaks and it fits right.

The paint comes off the header but what is left is stainless steel.
You can't realy see the header anyway unless you lean over the motor and look down in the back.

Click on my garage, I have a close-up pic of it installed.

It was a AWD dynojet but a dynojey nonetheless. It's notorious for being a low dyno. But that's what i dynoed and i'm not complaining. It's just a number.

aye. but it sucks finding dynos that are kinda "off" compare to most if you dont have a baseline dyno.

in the end your looking for the increase....not the number. just like you said.

Does the 2.9" pulley you have on there fit the GM Stage2 hub? I've been looking around for one that fits the <strike>stock</strike> stage2 hub, but cant find one.

edit: its too early

There is only one guy that is making a 2.9" pulley that fits the GM hub.

I have one of his 2.9" pulleys and it's on my GM hub.

Here is my post about it. I have 1 pic in my garage of the pulley installed too.
