Gotta love ZZP

Just got my ecu back from ZZP and i couldn't be happier. I just put an order in for axles dual pass option b and phenolic spacer. I just wish they would return my call because it is saying it can't ship because something unconfirmed but took the money out of my account. Next up is port sc and tb and meth injection. Another happy ZZP customer here

Yea it's just a canned tune for now but they do offer dyno tuning also, you can also send in your core after you recieve your new ecu. I'm not trying to turn any kind of thread to a bashing thread because I know many people do not like ZZP but I have dealt with them many times and spent a lot of money there and never had issues so just sayin my satisfaction.

ZZP is a great business, and I love going thru them! As far as tuning goes, every single motor reacts different to a tune, that why IMO it's best to get a tuner in your car to specify a tune just for your motor. But if you like the tune that you have then enjoy!

Yea this was just a base tune until all my cooling mods get in and I can go to the next step and I'm very happy my Afr is reading a tad rich but not rediculous which I expect with a canned tune

While we're on the subject, carstedt you had to buy HPTuners then correct? Where's the cheapest place to get that?

I have no HPTuners nearby So I'm s tuck with their canned tune. But ya, when I upgraded my 42s to 60s, I mailed my PCM to ZZP, they tuned it and mailed it back. I remember being really happy when it was waiting on my porch when I got home from work! I had it installed and road testing withen 30 minutes.!

Canned tunes, no matter from what company it comes from, miss a lot as far as tuning goes. I strongly suggest that everyone finds a local tuner to dial in the tune. You'll achieve more power as well as better reliability IMO.

<-- 85% ZZP parts. Not vendor bashing.
