So I had Zach06CobaltSC come to tune me the other day. Well b4 he even did anything the damn car wouldnt stay running. Any way turned out the o2 sensor was shorted out cause the wires werent quite long enough to reach the new bung in my exhaust so they were a bit stretched out.
anyway point of the story is Zach did an incredible job on the tune and I feel a great difference in the acceleration of my car now. Runs great Zach(cause he wasnt there to hear it run lol) and I would highly highly recommend anyone needing a tune to get in touch with him.
so with all that **** going on he actaully stayed there for like 4 hours with me removing this, checking that, rechecking this and removing that and helped me out more than I think 99% of the population would be willing to do.
Again awesome job man and you truly are a stand up guy....

Man he not only did a great job on the tune but too spend that much time trying to help out was just way over the top.... even got him in the doghouse with his ole lady for it too. thats above and beyond in my eyes...
Thanks for post bro! Just as a heads up whenever I come back to chicago if you would like me to stop by and "fine" tune you I will only charge you a little bit for gas. As I told you though the only thing I can really adjust is the timing and if your going with methanol injection we might as well just wait until its on the car personally. Also the retune is only gas + 50 bucks for meth and whatever else you put on the car and or want me to do, just let me know whats up man.
But ya I am glad you called me and told me what happened because I was confused as hell. Generally the car would be giving SOME type of code instead of an EVAP code. I am very shocked that you weren't giving a CEL for your rear o2, but I guess maybe there was just enough connection not to give a CEL but to make the car stall.
PS: I am still shocked too that a disconnected/shorted rear o2 sensor will stall a car lol.

I don't think EVERY cobalt will not run with a rear o2 not installed, I think it was more of an electrical issue and or partially connected problem if anything, because I can't see a blown rear o2 causing the car not to idle if it happened later on down the road ya know.
