Guys some advice

Hey all,

I am working on doing some work to my 06 SS/SC, and I am going with a the GM stage 2, and smaller pully with a custom tune. I already have installed the jbody perofrmance engines mounts, and the K&N Intake system both of which I love so far. . . However I want some more punch for my ride and want to keep up with most cars on the road. So I choose to go with the GM set-up, for my own personal reasons and the fact my dad is a GM employee and I get his discount and labour for free. However I am aware our stock clutch flywheel combo isn't the best. I am on a budget for this so I am looking for the best possible clutch+flywheel combo, I won't be adding anything else to my vehicle except a header back exhaust in due time. So any suggestions would be appreciated.

I was seriously considering the Fidanza flywheel+clutch combo because it looks like it would go very well together and Fidanza has a very gooe reputation. I also am looking into a clutchmasters kit and the Spec kit, both with a Fidanza flywheel.

Due to some negative feedback on the Spec clutches I am hesistant in persuing anymore information in regards to their clutch kits. I hear Exedy is really good however their kit is more then my budget would be able to afford.

If there are any other manufacturers I should look into please feel free to post links, and comments to this. Thank you all for youe help and patience.
