has anyone bought or ran the lightweight rotors?

So lightweight supercharger rotors...thoughts? Anyone ran them?

If you're looking to save weight/rotational intertia, why not run no rotors? Pull the rears out, it's not like you do most of your breaking with them anyway

Hmm, on second thought, I'm not sure if you're talking about SC rotors, or brake rotors

to save what 5 lbs lol go with heavy duty ones and save money because those will last longer

In my book, the only upgrade from stock Brembo rotors are these:

Powell Race Shop NASCAR style slotted floating rotors with hats, Brembo front, 315 mm x 28 mm

So, the question is, is he talking about lightweight brake rotors? Or Supercharger rotors (vanes) ?

m62 rotors. or else this would be in the drivetrain or general cobalt. but it's in the lsj section.

I can't find the link for the life of me atm, but I've seen pics on mustang forums of their lightened m112 rotors destroying sc cases.

How many years old is that thread? And they never posted the end result. The vendor claims install error and refutes a claim of poor design or poor testing. Who's to know? The thread is open ended.

A few years back someone put up m62 light rotors. they had test results i believe. I cant find it tho...

The op was only October of last fall...
Just not worth the risk IMO.
