Header/Dp need help
 
i got gss to install my header/dp but it seemed like getting exhaust leak from where header/dp connect. Correct me if im wrong shouldnt there be a gasket in between they stuck some red shit in there but it didnt seem to seal.

bump need to know soon cause i wanna have it running perfect by tomorrow for cruise weekend

Absolutely there should be. Should be both a gasket on both sides of the downpipe.

fuck i thought so they told me that it was my header leaking well if im gonna take them back off than gonna go get some new gaskets and put them in than reinstall and if works find that fucking stupid performance shop owes me 219 bucks

Yeah, the DP/Header is not hard to replace your self. Make sure the bolts are tightened well, because when I put on a temporary flex replacement earlier this month, the bolts were no where near tight enough, causing it to leak.

I've seen that happen with a few people, because people are typically cautious tightening those bolts in fear of cracking the gasket.

yeah i got it all out header/dp laying in my garage now gotta go get some gaskets soon i wanna have it running by tomorrow :P but not sure if that is going to happen
