im interested in buying a header for my ss soon...im really interesnt in lookin at headers that includes the downpipe..specifically i was choosing between the weapon r, vibrant, or the CA setup...any suggestions? dynos? clips?

Get the GMPP extrude-honed manifold. You'll get less gains than a true header... but it will guarantee you 0 fitment issues.

A "true" header will net you around 10hp... whereas the GMPP one will net you 5 or 6. It's your choice for sure... but I'm pleased with my GMPP manifold and haven't had a single problem out of it.

I've got the Pacesetter and it fit perfect, no leaks either. You just have to have your stock downpipe modded to hook up to the header. No biggie.

For a 2.5" the Weapon R will probably net you the best results. 4-2-1 Long Tubes are FTW. Virabant's is a 4-2-1 Long Tube as well, but a 3". I believe CTI has a very nice one that is 2.5" Long Tube but is 4-1.

The rest are just shorty headers that will need a new downpipe.
