heat exchanger vs. meth
So its coming onto three months now of me sitting on my ass waiting for my heat exchanger from CA. Every single week its the exact same thing, we expect it to be in early next week. And every week its no heat exchanger. So im giving them one more week. So what do you think, is it worth getting the meth to cool down the supercharger. I have 60's and a 2.7 pully in my basement just havent put them on since I havent had time to go see my tuning guy. I'm just curious bout going the meth route. Links to sites besides CA I'm aware of there kit would be much appreciated.

from what i understand meth kits are pretty universal. go to a local speed shop.

devils own has a base kit for a bit over 200 bucks. they are universal to a degree.
i have personally dropped over 30 degrees in iat2 temps with just changing out the coolant to distilled water and running a water injection kit |
yea i thought i heard that one company makes a container that goes under our hoods in the area thats left open on the passenger side.

Got my Snow Performance kit for 390 shipped brand new should be here in a few days. Meth injection is nice from what i hear. If i had the money i would do both.

put up the pics brian i wanna see how you mounted it.
|
where did you get it from.
|
i post pics of mine when i get home kiddies
be patient! :D |
I waited well over a month for my heat exchanger when they said they had them in stock :( If you were running under a 2.7 I would recommend the meth but with the 2.7 you should be fine with a heat exchanger. Just make sure your tuner doesn't run you to lean.

yea i was thinking bout meth. im just so sick of waiting. three months is by far way to long. at least when you expected it right away.

Get a cobra heat exchanger and the brackets and everything from B-Woody. It will be way cheaper also.
