Might be a dumb post but I'm going to the track on Friday and was wondering what you peeps think Ill get. I went 9.5 last year on just an stage 2 setup with shitty stock tires.
Now I have an TVS with an alrightish tune, MT slicks, and then the rest of the little b.s. like exhaust,header,cx racing H/E. O it's an 1/8th track

My Basemodel cobalt on a 75 shot ran 9.1 in the 1/8. It was putting down approx. 220 to the wheels. If ur tvs car doesnt put atleast an 8.75 that would be terrible.

 

I run 8.5 on DR's You should be low 8.

 

9.5 on stage 2? You obviously couldn't lay that power down and more power isn't going to help. Low 9's unless you became a great driver since last time.

 

Well like I said I only had 3 inch pulley,42's and a canned tune from the dealership. I'm a good driver, well at least I hope so

I just saw that you have slicks, slipped past me last time i posted. DUDE you better run WAY faster that 9.0. ****** 8.25.

 

Update- been busy but I ran an 8.4 @ 88.9 mph with a 2.2 60f.. That was the best out of four runs I did.

Get your 60 foot times down and you be a low 8 maybe high 7.
