How do i stop This god for saken wheel hop and exhaust questions
I have 18 x 8.5 adr propullsions and im currently looking into buying some drs for the track. I already have a zzp poly filled motor mount what other decently cheap mods can i do to get rid of this wheel hop
Exhaust question:
Everyone tells me that the stock exhaust off a ss/sc is 2.5 but 2.25 in certain spots should i have someone weld 2.5 inch pieces where there 2.25 or just go with a axel back canistor for better flow and a high flow cat?
mods are gm stage 2 with custom hp tuners tune. How should i go for a exhaust remember i want to stay decently cheap. any suggestions are welcome

I have front and back trans mounts and a motor mount - it helps with hop, but does not eliminate it. I'm only staged and I can hop off a launch consistently.

Ignalls may help if you've tried everything above. You can find them for around $100.
My stock exhaust looks like it was 2.5" the whole way...I live in PA and after 2 years it was rusted to hell and back and since you're in NY I'd imagine you're gonna have the same issue. I'd recommend a full stainless system like a Megan Racing cat back. I love mine! A high flow cat would help you considerable as well!

You will want BOTH the engine mount and tranny mounts.
We carry the tranny inserts at www.TurboTechRacing.com
Also "most" prefer the Turbo Tech Racing Upper engine mount...

Adding those mounts will lead to annoying vibrations, so keep that in mind.
They will fade a bit as they break in, but the car WILL become a rolling vibrator, at least for the first few hundred miles.
After that the vibrations will fade a bit, but the they will still be there.
It will help you put the power down better, shift smoother and minimize wheel hop though, but you should welcome the vibrations as well.

Why would you want to do that other than to burn the hell up of your tires and run the risk of breaking something in case it starts to wheel hop at those high rpm's
Launching at redline is a no-no if you want decent 60's and consequently a good 1/4 mile time !
