well i went to ship out my corsa the other day and i remember measuring that i would need about a 30" box so it was less than that. just the res part idk about flanges probably closer to 30 again

I got a OTTP long tube to 3 inch piping, a magnaflow resonator and a XR-1 muffler on mine. it has some rasp when it's cold and on the higher rpms but it's tolerable. I can try and get a video later next week if you want

What kind of data do you want?

In terms of flow, the Corsa resonator is the same as any 2.5" resonator.

As for sound, it removes all rasp and drone.

The only data I have for that is when I went from the stock catback with gmpp touring muffler welded on to the Corsa Touring catback. While the stock catback sounded nice w/ the gmpp touring muffler it droned on the highway a bit. When I bolted on the Corsa, I couldnt believe how quiet it was while cruising. You can barely hear the exhaust inside the car at a 75mph cruise.

You are beating a dead horse....

If you want something that is none restrictive and is quite then modify the stock cat back like I mentioned.

ZZP Cat'd LT will free up the restrictions where it matters the most.

Cut off the 2" inlet to the resonator and replace it with a 2.5" or even a 3" flange if you want to run a 3" outlet from your DP. Then run the stock muffler.

That might be just a touch restrictive but it will be quite. I am sure it will be fine for any size pulley you plan on running on the M62. If you don't think it is, then replace the stock muffler with a 2.25" Stainless works turbo chambered muffler.

Search? Who does that anymore?

Isn't the moderators job to do the search for the members?

Judging by my Corsa installation instructions the only difference between the two kits (2.4SS & 2.0SS) are the muffler part numbers.

Anyways, the part number for the resonator is 16CB2001 (front muffler assembly).

Well going back to the first page, riceburner... you were right it does sound ***tty. Retightened everything and put a new gasket in today and got rid of my leak(I think). It sounds better since I got rid of the leak, but after 3 grand it sounds sooo ricey. Haha oh well its a supercharged 4 cylinder... not much you can do.

Just for ***** n' giggles.... install the stock downpipe (if you have it). This way you can hear what the Corsa catback is supposed to sound like. Don't blame the catback man, the rasp is coming from the high flow downpipe.
