I bought mine August 31 of 2012 and I've had the engine, transmission, all clutch components, both front wheel hub bearings, passenger window motor, and ac/heat blower all since then. Thank god for warranties.

I can't wait to sell mine too, although I'm doing it because I would like another car better.
I feel as though every other Cobalt has a ton of problems.

Try owning an 87 s10 with the 2.8. It doesn't die. EVER. But itmakes you wish it did.

5 years and 85k miles, I only had a leak on my ac, bad front brakes and a cracked gas tank. Al replaced under warranty.
Now I have axle seals leaking, which is my project for next weekend.

Mechancilly, my car has been solid. Other than things of my own doing. But I've had so many little tiny nit pick issues that'll drive ya crazy. Like having my back drivers floor fill up with rain and can't for the love of god figure out where it's coming in from. I had an 03 Cavalier Z24 since new before my Balt and honeslty, it was built much better than my Balt.

Havent had any real problems to speak of out of mine and I'm at almost 140k miles. Had the steering motor replaced under the recall and my flex pipe broke but was covered under emissions warranty. However I've had to deal with the sunroof switch plate and bezel, and door handle chrome though as usual!

I like my car...I havent had any major issues. I hate how bad the rattles are but it is my fault for having a lowered car.
