i am conviced that our cars are the biggest piece of crap made

I am pulling out of my driveway and set the e-brake. I go back into my garage and go to set the e-brake and find that the brake wont hold.
There is a little ratchet (key way) that is pressed in and no way to go back in if it falls out. Its not welded or even riveted anywhere. Took the thing apart to find that they just stamped the steel in place and now wont go back in without dis-assembly. Which its all riveted together so there isn't a way of repairing it after its pulled apart.

This goes right along with a malfunctioning power door lock switch, HVAC blower motor quit on me, car has rattles everywhere, stock tie rod end links had play in them, sunroof switch plate never stays in place, and that's just the stuff i can remember. This has nothing to do with modding the car this all just crap that GM could have engineered a lot better.

Sunroof switch has a simple fix. I used gorilla glue to hold it in place. So far 7 months going strong.

I have fixed said issues and I am not selling my car. There isnt a car on the road as fast as mine for the price I paid and the motor I built. Just venting cause my car needs constant attention.

I have been looking into a Subaru WRX STI! That right there would be my car to drive. My cobalt has alot of **** to man. Sun roof has plastic pieces on both sides of the guide rail that broke off, and now it wont shut all the way! and the chrome on my door handle is flaking off.. sometimes the door wont shut i have to play witht he handle to get it to engage.. such a pain in the ass..
