lol, I havent been on the board in 5 days (something med student guy needs to try) and this thread is hilarious. You guys really got your panties in a bunch over a simple statement that was taken way wrong by medical boy. I simply said I wasnt going to find a car as fast for the money I had in a turbo kit. 2000 bucks (used turbo kit) AND the motor I built. That is why I worded it that way. Guess Med STUDENT doest get some things from book learning. Anyway this thread is full of laughs and the original topic still stands, my cars a piece in some ways.

Compared to my last car, my balt is a Ferrari haha :P GM has never gotten the cosmetic aspect quite right, but they do a pretty good job mechanically. I wish they would have put more work into our suspension though, it's awesome, but the T/C suspension kills ours as far as I know.

Well lets see.... blown engine at 97k, elec. Power steering replace, tierod ends, struts blown, power mirrors don't work, trunk button don't work, door look swtches don't work, paint fading on roof... but, I have a new gm crate motor and blower and zzp stage 3 clutch with lnf tob ;-) might turbo.... idk yet. Cant say I "hate" the car but I think my 03 V6 6sp tiburon is a better car.. I've owned it for what seems like eternity. Turbo'd it and made plenty of power but didnt ride comfy like the balt lol. Well, given its 1.5 inches off the ground and all haha. I contemplate selling this car everyday but can't for some reason. I want a v8 but I like the idea of a turbo v8 killer ;-)

I contemplate selling all the time too. But I will never get this kind of performance in a car in my price range. Until I'm done with school! This is why it's hard for me to sell but the fact I keep thinking it means something is up with it the decision. I have to be unhappy to an extent and for me its interior. So I will probably sell before too long.

Oooh ooh the steering wheel for me too! Forgot about that one!
Yeah my interior needs some work but I just got back from a local run to the auto parts store for a wheel hub for my wifes suburban and ran into a bunch of import guys. They loved that I was running a 20g lol. They had 16g turbos. I got a lot of love for my car. Best thing I have heard in a while about my car. Its giving me renewed interest to get the small things fixed and start running more with locals.

my 05 Cobalt had 73k miles on it when it got totalled in a rollover accident. But the only things that went wrong was a faulty throttle body and a leaky Caliper. I still like the Cobalts though (nope didn't get another one) I settled on a 2010 Saab 9-5 for a wonderful price and only 19k on the Odo.
