Hey everyone, i've read through some things on here but havent really been able to find what im looking for. I'm new to this site, just bought my cobalt so that would be the reason. I have an 06 Cobalt SS and I'm trying to locate the IAT sensor so I can install something a friend of mine from Cali sent me to increase my performance... its some kind of resistor. Every website i've gone to hasnt really been able to help me in my process of finding it, so I figured i'd ask the experts over here.


If you could please help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

Whatever resistor you have is a bunch of crap. Dont use it.

 

Same thinking here. Put it down and walk away. Start with intake, exhaust, then go with a stage kit from zzp or OTTP. Then mods wll come your way after that gauges etc...

It's bullshit, don't install it.

 

The IAT1 sensor is on the MAF on the airbox tube. The IAT2 sensor is in the MAP sensor. Like others have mentioned, I wouldn't mess with it.

all it does is tell ur engine its cold,richens it up a bit, and gives u zero noticeable power
