IGN ADV too high?

Ok guys,
I just replaced my ic pump this weekend and my IAT2 temps are below 100, but while I was driving home tonight I switched my aeroforce over to ign adv and at idle it was reading 10. While cruising it was between 30-20 ... is this normal? I was not going above 3k rpm and It was reading about the same regardless of the gear I was in. Dont know if it matters but i am at sea level. I searched a little on here with no real good answer. I'm still a little new at the tuning thing so please be easy! I just don't want to put my car in unnecessary risks. Here are my mods
Stock tune
Injen intake
One step colder plugs
Dual pass endplate and option b
Zzp short tube header
Zzp catless dp
Zzp 2.5 exhaust with no response
Aeroforce gauge...
That's all that is one there.
Any help would be great! Thanks guys

Sounds normal to me, im not sure about pump gas but i know when tuning e85 the only way to get good gas milage is to add a lot of timing in the cruise cels, so im guessing gas is the same just lil less timing.

since your tune is stock,
you have stock spark advance

I just didn't think my ign adv would be so high.. do you think it might be because of the one step colder plugs? The car feels and sounds good, I just don't want to mess it up before I get stage 3.. that's why I'm trying to get the supporting mods on first.

Those timing numbers are correct for idle and cruise,
the more important timing numbers are at WOT !

those are normal to me. You really only need to worry about WOT timing advance

your plugs have nothing to do with the timing table and have no effect on it and you don't need to run 1 step colder plugs in a stock engine

What would timing at WOT be for a 2.8" pulley? Full intake/exhaust, good cooling mods.

I'm tuning myself, and I'm about 17 degrees. Any higher and i get ~1 hit of knock every couple of runs.

Lots of factors can alter what your WOT advance should be.... 17 degrees is about what you can run up top with a 2.8" pulley until you add meth or higher octane.

^ Thanks. I'm not on the ss.net much, but when I am I trust your posts.

That's pretty much all I needed to know. I was just looking around for what timing people got at top end, wasn't sure if I was in the right ball park or not.

Will be adding meth though :P

Thanks, and yes, you are at a good starting point.

Def add some octane, and then some more timing. You will be very happy with the results.
