Informational: How not to make a timing table

The following tune was pulled from a fellow LSJ member

It doesn't matter if your running 12 PSI or 30 PSI, this rather important portion of your tune will lead to your short block's demise.

Now those of you that tune LSJs, forever remember this. THIS IS NOT A SAFE TUNE JUST BECAUSE IT SAYS 22* BY REDLINE

MODS... this had to be done... this is one of just a few I've pulled of this tuner. This type of tuning is not acceptable

This is off another car CCSS3 tuned

Here's what the maf table looks like

This is what a timing map should look like

So now your wanting to start more **** huh? Considering the fact that I myself ran more timing midrange and wot I'd say this wasn't that aggressive (top end) his midrange is also less then what I usually give. There are many fellow Lsj owners with more ten this.

Thanks good by

I'm not stupid this is blues car. I even stated many times his timing was ramped from the midrange to the 22 up at top end. It ramps down, say what you will but I have guys that have dynoed and showed improvements like so...

Wow dude...

this is unacceptable... how could you even put this on the guys car? It's not even smoothed :/

This tune is by no means safe... the amount of cylinder pressure on blue's car @ 25 psi and 29* of timing... it doesn't matter if your running 22* up top...

Anyone want to explain what this is and why it's bad? Maybe educate the rest of us a little?

4300-4600 RPM he's seeing 29-28 degrees... peak torque is between 4500-5000 on a 2.7 TVS SETUP

The accusation here is (to much timing midrange and not smoothed) considering this car build boost in rpm it's not much) boost isn't controlled by a wastegate in the exhaust now is it. So it's not automatically 25lbs at 3k-4k. His midrange timing at higher cyl pressure is 29-27 (midrange) and tapers to 25 then to 23 then to 22 at his redline.

There is a map above showing how a properly scaled timing table should look.

only accounts I have are Steven Flit & 100% meth

Couple years back I decided to change my sn to avoid my actual name being on the internet.

I pm'd a moderator in the past to have my other sn deleted, but had no response.

I didn't make it

If you have the power to do so, please delete Steven Flit from the forum. Or at least point me in the right direction to do so myself. It's been inactive for 2 years

He is sharing my photobucket photos though
