Injectors

I'm going from 42# injectors to 50# injectors and from a 3.00inch to a 2.8 pulley(bye bye stage 2) and I was wondering if i can drive this thing with the upgrades or should I reinstall my 42# injectors and leave installing my injectors till i get a tune going. It's not like I'll be beating on it it just i want to be able to drive it.

tune it for the injectors. You can wash down your cylinders and cause big damage.

Install them and tow it to the tuner. $80 is cheaper than a new engine.

You can put the pulley on it, and drive, just STAY OUT OF BOOST.

Do NOT put the injectors in until you get tuned.

I pulled the 50# injectors out, and put the 42's back in. I hope to get a tune very shortly and get my injectors AND my throttle body put on at the shop to prevent any mishaps.

now I have to get a 3 inch intake since I learned injen isn't 3 inchs and would almost defeat the purpose of having the throttle body. Probably get a ZZP one.

this forum still rocks
