Installed Pacesetter Header to Complete Exhaust

Finally have gotten my entire exhaust in (Pacesetter Ceramic Coated Headers, XTC DP w/ hogh-flow cat, and GMPP Cat-back). Can definatly feel and hear the difference. The sound is much deeper and "beastly" I guess you could say. Can't complain one bit about the sound. Performance wise, I felt a drastic difference in power as well. You can easily tell that the parts added some nice hp and tq numbers. Now before I had the headers installed, I had just the dp and catback on and saw 18.5-19lbs of boost, with the headers it is at 18lbs. Loss of backpressure but great gains of hp/tq. Just thought I'd let everyone know. I'm going to try to get some sound clips (not very computer smart) and will have dyno numbers next weekend.

Sounds like you have a similar setup that I have. Hope you like it.

It's good to hear that their header is coming out pretty nicely. I know it probably fits way better than my zzp header and probably sounds a hell of a lot better too.

Oh yeah! The header install was a breeze for me, there was not cutting or hitting or smashing at all. I just pushed the header up from underneith, put a couple bolts in and then just tightened the rest of them down. It was pretty simple and fit perfect, AND NO LEAKS!!!

My completed mods are the ones in my sig., just don't include the "soon to come" portion. I would estimate somewhere around 275hp, not sure on the torque, maybe about 250-260. Anybody else wanna estimate it?

So you do... not have the 2.6" and stuff?

I have a custom 3" catless DP.

No the pulley, injectors, and stuff will be coming in tomorrow from ZZP and hopefully should be getting them on and tuned by next weekend. I had a lot of issues with getting my header installed. The Pacesetter didn't match up to the XTC dp at all. Had to cut the flew pipe on the dp before the cat and then weld the header to the dp.

Yeah, thats why I just got a complete full custom exhaust when I put the header on. It fits good on the motor and stuff but it doesn't fit with stock stuff very well.

Yea it did fit to the motor very well. Have you been dynoed with your mods? Seems like we have very similar mods, wondering what your putting down.

I was going to get the ZZP header, but I had read that many people were unhappy with the sound of it, so I went with Pacesetter.

Mine is leaking, and I have the redesigned one as well. Their downpipe is decent, but i'm going to junk the header soon. I'm not even going to sell it because I already made some customizing of it already of my own.

Sorry to hear about the header, hopefully you find one that matches up well the dp you already have.

I'll try to get some up this weekend for everyone to see. Great gains and sound. And thanks TTR for getting me the header quickly.
