so i was wondering if the intense stage 5 was good or bad and before you guys get on my case about using the search feature i have and i couldn't find anything on it. i was just tryi[/ng to find out what you guys think about it or if there another route you guys prefer.

 

If you do get the intense stage 5 you will need a better tune as Intense tends to run their tunes a little lean and a few guys have blown their motors because of it and also get as much cooling mods as possible so the blower isnt to hot. Ex: meth injection, ported blower, Cobra heat exchanger

 

I would suggest you just build your own kit and get tuned via hp tuners, so get a 2.6, 60ln injectors, tuned, and cooling mods and you wil be set.

Yes definitely build your own stage kit, a buddy of mine put a Stage 5 on his Cobalt and the first time he melted a piston and then the second time he blew out his tranny, so I wouldn't put it on there, the guy that did it if you want to talk to him is "Blurred Vision".

i was thinking about building my own stage kit but when i talked intense they talked like they added to the pcm not just tune in so i was going to let them add to mine and then tune it my self. so the hp tunner is all i need

if i do go with a 2.6 and 60lb injectors a ported supercharger an all the other cooling i need with my full hahn exhaust (headers back) and a injen cai and do my own tune for 96 octane about what will i see for numbers hp wise and tq

well im in iraq now and im building my car up for when i go to germany and they have 96 octane at all there pumps is 96 bad? what would be better?
