Interceptor

On my Interceptor gauge when i go to see Knock retard it just shows the previous read out. like if i was on boost and it was -20.3 it will read that. is there a setting i need to change. also the oil pressure read out reads like 65552 always? that cant be right! and i set up the shift lights to come on and i read on here i need to change my interceptor to the fastest data rate which i did. sorry so many questions i didnt find their directions that clear, and i shouldn't speak right? bad grammar!

anyone?

Make sure you have it set on knock 3 in the set-up screen. Knock 1-2 do not work. And your oil pressure won't work without a sensor kit from aeroforce.

you have to set data rate to 1. also go and set up the annuciator and set the shift lights to whatever you want. mines at 6750 for a 7k redline

One thing that I have notice that works is if you have the 1st one set to IAT2's which could read like 60, and you have switch your 2nd one to knock it will also read 60. If you hold the button on the right down for a very short 2 seconds, like counting "one, two" and letting off, it will set it to 0.0.

But yes, have data rate on 1, and follow the rest of this thread's info.

If that was hard to explain, if your knock is reading something besides 0.0 hold down the right button for a VERY short two seconds. More like 1 actual second. But I just count "one, two" and then let go and it sets it to 0.0

k so i figured it out. i had the knock retard on 1 not three. so that reads 0.0 now. and i have the data rate on 1 and i set my rpm to 6500 but maybe i just havent taken it high enough yet

hot carls ss, go to set up and select knock 3, the other two dont work

well earlier today i didnt see any knock and i was expecting to see some. i dont have colder plugs yet and everyone says you should get them after you go stage 2. i have stage 2, ls4 tb, cai, catback, 2.9 pulley and a port/pluged supercharger. and im only seeing like 13.5 psi in top of second. i think it goes up more in 3rd though, ill check it out tom

you should be boosting a lot more then that with stage 2 + 2.9

yeah before the 2.9 i was only seeing like 12.5, which is what i was stock. i dont remember what it was at when i had just stage to. but i think the exhaust is what made it drop

What's your redline set at? Make sure its 7000, not 6500. If it is, they forgot to flash you with the stage 2 tune.

no its 7 grand. i just always shift right when it hits the red line on the tach when im gettin on it. i never push it up to 7, just 6500 but if the light will come on at 6500 ill be shifting just about at 7 probably
