LS4 throttle body Good or bad? answer please

Ok i was thinking of going stage 2 with ottp 2.8 pulley 60lb injectors already have dual pass endplate. So would it be worth it to go for the ls4 throttle body and will it give me that much more power?

the ls4 TB bears no more performance than the stocker unless it is ported. even then there is not much of a gain

same here, tq gain down low is well worth the 40 bucks I spent. best to port the inlet of the supercharger and use a 3inch intake to get all the benefits of it. But of course, using the search function would have told ya that.

OMG!! I'd like to accept this compliment of behalf of all redline owners!!

thanks john... lol. it's nice to know my opinion counts somewhere...

i noticed a lot more low end with it. the drivability suffers somewhat, but if you know how to adjust your driving then it's perfectly fine. ask wickedss2005, i can drive it smoother than some others on the stocker

You can back the **** up right now. Just because some incompetent dumbasses don't wanna take the time to fine tune for that throttle body doesn't mean that it's not a great pickup.

It does make your topend, like a few hundred rpm, suffer a tad and you will lose a tad bit of hp, but the low end there is quite a good gain as far as tq goes. It's great for a everyday driving car and it's great for a track car. Drag racing, it's kind of a trade off, but I liked it and you can adjust your timing curve to help you on the top end if need be.

and don't try to come at me with, blah blah blah, your car doesn't run right now, blah blah blah, you're in germany, cause that **** doesn't have anything to do with an LS4 throttle body. The dyno sheets are out there and they prove exactly what I've stated.

I have an LS4 and a reble 3" intake and after putting it on the dyno my gains where down low but over I saw no change in peak HP or TQ. The car pulls so much harder from down low it is well worth the money I am also on the stock pully

that's the whole reason i won't give it up and go back to stock. the downlow tq is where the best gains are at.
