By the wire colors indicated by the diagram.
Edit, pin A is black, B is brown, C is purple, D is pink with black stripe. |
Paco you looking for the tach signal?
|
Ok man since u can't figure it ont for Ur self u need a tach driver adapter for a coil on plug ignition system. Basic electronics man.

Why? You can just look up the specs and figure out what voltage means what. Just need a few backprobing needles and a good multimeter.

U need a tack driver for a crank trigger ignition setup

Got ya. Sorry I didn't know what the op was after, don't think he ever said.

As far as i know the gauge cluster uses a serial signal. I could be wrong

on the saab the other two are ignition trigger, and ionization voltage (knock, combustion, and missfire detection). on ours it goes 1, postive 2, negative 3, ignition trigger 4, ion voltage What im trying to do is rig up cobalt coils to work on the saab. |
Do you have access to a Saab pin out diagram? Compare the two. Although the cobalt lsj is an ecotech engine and has the capability to run the ion sensing it doesn't use it, at least entirely. We have other sensors to detect knock etc. Notice that two of the pins are grounded on our coils. Seems to me one of those grounds would be your ion voltage.
