(7000RPM*6.25" crank pulley)/3.8" SC pulley = SC RPM of approx 11,500

just FYI. what the rotors are turning I can only presume to be the same as the SC input shaft. Dont know if it is under or over driven internally.

It could fit if you're ready to get a huge hole in your hood LOL.

Its only 5.5 inches tall, and it sits on our manifold at an angle. How much bigger is it? I have seen them in person and they don't seem a LOT larger, just wondering. I don't have time to look it up right now and I'm sure someone else already has.

Why does everyone say it won't fit under the stock hood?

M62 Height = 4.91
M90 Height = 5.30

this should be pretty cool if you go through with it, im not a fan of any of the s/c swaps, due to a big waste of money for minimal gains, but if you can do the swap for under 500 bucks, a 20hp gain would be awesome, gl man, m90 ftw

I seriously don't think a 20hp gain is worth it. 500-600 bucks is what it is costing you. That may cost someone else a few hundred more. I also don't think that you are going to get to 260-270whp until you are pullied down with 60lbers just like the m62. with that much more heat from a bigger blower, it won't be worth it. gl though. let us know how it goes.

I just reviewed compressor maps. it is totally not worth it. TVS is far better. I like the TVS 900 but a 1320 could be an option.

There's where my view of it comes from ssnipes. And I think I would lean more towards the TVS 1320.

R1050 is what you want.. 1320 would be for a very wild, huge cam, ported head, etc... car.

For a bolt on, a 900 or 1050 wll be what you want..

Well I don't plan on doing it until my warranty expires. Then I'm going to get a bunch of head and valvetrain work done, get a slightly more aggressive cam with 0.500" of lift, forged pistons, and see what I can get out of it.

M62 states - for 2.5L to 4.2L engine or motor that is built and suitable which can be a smaller application.

R1320 states for 2.2L so I wouldnt count it out. but I would be concerned and would want expertise to ensure it will work properly.

Someone keeps forgetting that the price of the TV's does not make them cost effective.

Will the gains be on par with the 1.2L whipple? If so what a waste.

Cost is of no issue if it is bolt in, same cost or less than turbo, and I can obtain my HP goals.
