Make your own Option B Kit Cheaper!!!
Is there any way to make an Option B Kit cheaper than buying one from ZZP or OTTP?? I think $120 for a reservoir, hose, and a few hose clamps is ridiculous honestly....LMK if there is a way or if you have done it maybe help me out and show me how....Thanks!!

People have done it, the nice thing about ZZP and OTTP is that you can get the bracket which looks better and is nicer then trying to rig up something. I have an option b kit and brackets that I selling, less then 1k miles on it but want $105 shipped

I have an option B tank I'd like to get rid of (it's the coolant bottle from an Ion, but same thing). PM if you're interested, and I'll get you pics.
And personally, I'm more of a fan of a flow through design that keeps fluid constantly moving through the bottle...I ended up using a coolant bottle I found in the junkyard (I think from a mx3), made brackets to mount it behind my power steering pump, then plastic welded two 3/4" barbs to it.

This is the flow through I made. Can't see the bottom barb in the pic, but its at the bottom of the tank facing forward. I used to threaded 3/4" barbs from a local boat supply shop, and plastic welded them.

What do you mean the stock filler neck?? The actual tube gets removed where you put in coolant?? So where do the line in and out of the tube go to....Do you just run the 3/4 hose from the new tank into the port where it originally runs to from the filler tube??
