Needing help with timing chain 06 cobalt ss/sc

I'm needing help I'm new to the whole cobalt 2.0 lsj world and I took apart my timing chain as the balance sprocket broke but when I ordered the new balance shaft set it can with a solid sprocket instead of the original one so I'm needing help with the issues please

what exactly is the issue? that the new sprocket looks different than the old one?

Yes the original one looks like its on a bearing and moves back and forth the new one is a solid one piece sprocket

Lookup the Gates timing chain youtube video (or at least I think it's Gates) they go through the entire process including torque specs

looks like you got one for a 2.2/2.4l, it appears the 2.0l uses a different sprocket. you can get it from crate engine depot, its part # 12642713.
