same Q, i've got the 100, where do i send it?

 

so, anyday they want to return my PM, that would be great.

 

this is why im watching and not handing money yet. they had a thread where they were going to build a bigger radiator and have their own intercooler package with it. but the responses slowed down, then stopped coming.....

Ahh....I get it. ColeJJones - when you say "Intake" in this thraed...it is assumed that you are talking about the "INTAKE MANIFOLD" and not a COLD AIR INTAKE as, I believe, you are referring to.

 

I spoke to rebel in person he has been running around with his head cut off. but he wants to know of the 20 devoted people before he accepts any money

 

If you want people to be devoted to the *possibility* of a new intake manifold, you had better get a CAD drawing up here NOW. I dont give $$ for vapourware.

Plus....if he is "running around with his head cut off", maybe they should not have opened up their mouths about taking on another project that they have no time for...seeing as they have to finish the other 2 or 3 projects in the works for the past 2-ish years. Classic "bit off WAY more than you can chew" scenerio.

I dont mean to rant...but every rebel thread ends up with them not updating it, seemingly dropping their projects, leaving us dissappointed and with false hopes.

Rebel: If you have a mock up...or something concrete to show, great. Post that up and get people to buy into it...no problem. But if you are in the "hey, we should make a new intake manifold for the LSJ" stage with no cad drawing, no set design, and only a fuzzy idea of what you are doing....DONT post until this is all in order and you actually have something that I can look at or actually touch. Thats basic business /design concepts!!!

Well im interested but, i want to see some drawings or something. I just cant see putting $100 down on something that does not exist.

 

Ok, well we are busy here, got 2.0L with our ported head and Twin Screw install, next we are doing another 2.4L SC kit, building a shortly header for our test car with the TS to take it to the track...and some secret stuff

As for cad drawings, we are trying to see if we can get a drawing of the manifold from GM, if not we'll just have to measure it all out. From there we can get some CAD designs.
