The original thread has been edited. Thats why is says deposit and not R&D fee. Scroll through and you'll see what I mean. Like I said, its not a big deal to me. Ive gave the company they were supposed to be working with on this before my car while I was deployed, and nothing ever came of it. So me giving them a 100 bucks for R&D or in your case, a Deposit...isnt a thing. But I HIGHLY suggest you read through the majority of this thread...because originally...it was an R&D fee...

The $100 deposit will go towards your total, however if the product fails there will be no refund as the money will be already used...so yes it's a deposit to be in the deal and it will go towards your total, but on the other hand it won't be refunded as it will go to R&D.

Well...not sure about the intent of that statement...but if you look at it logically:
"If the product fails...." <- the product has to be developed, tested, and retail ready before you can even begin to study if it fails or not. The word "product" indicates that it WILL be FULLY developed and AVAILAIBLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC - which, in turn means that all who invest WILL, %100 WITHOUT A DOUBT, NOT lose their investment as "wasted R&D dollars". The statement CLEARLY STATES AND IMPLIES that everyone's money will end up going to the cost of the intake manifolds...that Rebel WILL make and you WILL have in your hands provided you pay the balance.

, been thinking about actually trading both cars in for a c5 Z06, hopefully they get me a payment of less then 500/ month, seeing i owe 10k on maro and 15k on the balt. lose money on both.

I would be all over this if there was a money back guarantee of some sort. But then again if there was a money back guarantee then we wouldn't need to be donating money for it lol. I wish this project the best as we could benefit a lot from something like this.
