yet another expensive tube... funny how they all are focusing on some ideal concept of air flow, when non of them focus on insulating that tube from heat which would be way more beneficial than any engineering non sens velocity bs...

yes them little tiles off the shuttle are the shit, had one in hand with a welding torch set on high, made it glow bright red, was able to touch it after leting it cool for 5 sec...they are quite expensive :)...I think the price of that tube give you one tile ( 6in by 6in I think)

Blown 4-banger 06-23-2006 06:04 PM

That would awsome to make an intake out of those tiles!!! I'm gonna do that... after I save the $5000 it will cost for the tiles

isnt weapon r notorious for being junk comapred to AEM, Injen, etc?

I duno theyve always been just rice (least from what ive heard)

Rusty 06-23-2006 06:35 PM

i have not heard a lot about weapon R intakes. K&N, Injen, and AEM are VERY reputable companies that make great products. however, it is my experience that the Injen intake has a lot of fitment issues that I have not heard about with K&N or AEM.
