I recently got my SS SC cobalt and i was wondering what should be my first performance upgrade? Mind that i haven't done any heavy tuning to any of my previous cars and i want this to be my first.

you should get a CAI

I live in ofallon. Doesn't the SS/SC have an CAI tho? i plan on replacing it with the injen one in a while

If you want to start modding:

1. Get either the GMPP Stage 2 kit or Intense Stage 3 kit.
2. Get some NGK BKR7E plugs.
3. Get a torque dampner.

That is a good starting point. If you are qorried about warranty issues I wouls stick with the GMPP kit. If you dont' mind having any potential warranty issues later on, then go with the Intense kits.
